I’m quite curious as to that video actually. Nice to see a project like that but it’s a shame that it won’t be made despite how much it can do for the world.
Last time I saw a video about something to be constructed that grabbed my attention it was the Mega Pyramid City. So…

The concept alone is more than enough to earn attention for people to look into it :o
Although what’s this of a sky city? You know how to grab my attention. It’s been ages since I’ve seen concepts like these that grab my focus by bringing the fantasy worlds I grew up and dreamed of to reality in a way that makes sense and the technical knowledge to work. <3

Also turns out there’s quite a few good beaches for finding sea glass here in California. Time to drag the roomie on some day-trips! XD

Ah it’s just an estimate, in the video they said you could get from coast to coast in 45 minutes.

Last time I saw a video about something to be constructed that grabbed my attention it was the Mega Pyramid City. So it would be good to see another thing like that. =)

Well I got my exercise and vitamin D for the year

Certainly jealous, wish it was possible to join you. Beach with friends certainly is a good way to spend the time. ^_^

Aww, still so in love :)

Oh
Look at them

Reblogging not because of who they are, but because of how moving these two pictures are when seen together.

Denbigh is another abandoned asylum in England. It was built in the mid to late 1840s and closed for good in 1995. The land owner has left the building to decay.

hm

See, what happens is that buildings get protected status, but the landowner doesn’t want to use the building as is - or it’s damaged, and the landowner doesn’t want to use the building or take the extra care to have it repaired/rebuilt in the original style & materials as stipulated by the protected status.

For example, the Frank N Furter Mansion from Rocky Horror? When they want to film there, the owner had previously stripped all the lead from the roof in order to try and quicken the building falling apart.

I would love to see this place myself somehow ;-;

‘MAY’ contain traces of peanuts? Well that’s not good enough. It better.…oh, and I guess the other bit too.
